Allotment extension update

The Parish Council have now completed the work on 12 new allotments on the site off Park Lane.

The field had been used for grazing for some years until the Council took it back into use but not before a lot of work was undertaken. Our friends at the University of Nottingham Field Trials Team kindly lent their support in ploughing the field on two occasions and the pictures show the massive difference this has made. Once completed we have to thank Trev Littledyke who then rotated the site making it ready for occupation, and a number of new allotment holders have already begun enjoying the site.
