Kirk Hill Bridge A6006

As all residents are aware the demolition of the is going ahead. The Parish Council, Nottinghamshire County council, other Parishes and Leicestershire County council have been in negotiations regarding the road closures and diversions for the bridge closure.A full plan will be published in due course by VIA but the information we have been provided will entail the following:Full closure of the A6006, access to Hathernware Industrial Estate will be from the Rempstone side.Road closures to avoid these roads being used at rat runs.Landcroft LaneHungary LaneDark Lane (New Kingston to West Leake)Butt Lane Normanton on SoarThere will also be a weight restriction from the A6006 through Stanford on Soar.The approved diversion routes will be signposted at all major junctions.If residents have questions or problems when the work commences can these please be directed via the Clerk to the Council so we can co ordinate these and reply directly to our contacts at VIA (clerk@suttonboningtonparishcouncil.org.uk)
