Marle Pitt Hill works - update
The Parish Council have received an update on the works on Marle Pit Hill. Network Rail have yet to award the tender for the works to reinstate the wall in its current form. It is now expected that works will not commence until early next year, and soon as we have more information we will keep everyone informed.

Temporary traffic Signals - Rempstone Road
We have been notified that there will be temporary traffic signals on the A6006 at the junction with Park Lane on the 27th September.

Marle Pitt Hill
The Parish Council have had advanced notification that Network Rail will commence work on the wall on Marle Pit Hill on 18th November 2023.
They will be working overnight under 2-way signals between the times of 22:00 – 06:00 and 23:00 – 09:00.

Network Rail investigations
Network Rail will be carrying out further ground investigations in the village in preparation for the electrification of the Midland Mainline as outlined below.
When the Parish Council get further information on the whole project we will let all residents know.

Two way traffic signals
Please note that there will be two way traffic signals on Park Lane, Sutton Bonington. Outside No 78. Near the junction of Charnwood Avenue from Tuesday 5th September until Thursday 7th September.

Network rail works
Network Rail will be carrying out work through the village at night between Monday 4th and Friday 8th September.This is in connection with the electrification of the Midland Main Line. The Parish Council will keep residents informed on the progress of this project as we get it.
