SAVE the Skylink bus service in Sutton Bonington and surrounding villages
Since Trent Barton gave notice of the withdrawal of the Skylink bus service the Parish Council, Cllr Matt Barney and a number of residents have held a meeting with Notts County Council to try and plan a way forward after the full withdrawal in April. Mud on Park Lane
The Parish Council and William Davis have been in constructive talks regarding the mud on Park Lane and the A6006. William Davis are going to employ additional road sweepers on both roads in the coming days as well as looking at wheel washing for vehicles leaving site.

Marle Pit Hill closure
The Parish Council were as surprised as residents last week when the Marle Pitt Hill was closed without any notification.We have sought to investigate why this occured and we are now in active correspondence with both Nottinghamshire County Council and Network Rail as to why residents and bus companies were not given prior notice.Once we have any information we will post it on the Parish Council website...

Closure of dispensary services at Sutton Bonington
ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE HEALTH GROUP
The Village Health Group have taken the difficult decision to stop providing dispensing services from the Sutton Bonington premises as it is no longer viable. This does not affect the dispensary at the Keyworth site.
They have notified NHS England, as we are required to do contractually, & our last day of operation will be Friday 27th January 2023.

Update from William Davis
Construction Programme
Ground works continue across the site with the bulk of the main roads and sewers now complete. Around mid-November, traffic control will be required at the site entrance to allow the electric connection to be made and the substation to be brought online. There is a chance that this will involve traffic lights but will only be for a relatively short period.
