Parish Council strategic plan
The Parish Council is made up unpaid elected officers, plus a paid clerk.
As a group we have come together and to produce a strategic plan to ensure that we try and do the best for the community in which we live in.
This plan will give villagers a clearer idea of what we are focused on. It will be shared with everyone at the upcoming annual parish meeting on the 15th April 2024.

Flooding Update from County Cllr Matt Barney
In the last few hours, we have experienced some of the worst flooding that I can personally recall.
I believe that all residents who require support with temporary accommodation are known to us, but if anyone has been missed, then let me know as a matter of urgency. Please check in on vulnerable neighbours.

Network rail update
Works will commence mid-April 24 until the end of May 24. The primary goal is to expedite the remediation of the retaining wall, addressing the concerns raised by the community as quickly and efficiently as possible. Road closures will be kept to a minimum and residents will be notified in due course.

Electric blanket safety schemes
Nottinghamshire Trading Standards Service is running 3 electric blanket safety events on the 6th, 7th and 8th December at 3 locations across County. The County unfortunately had 2 deaths last winter due to electric blanket fires and we are wanting to get unsafe blankets out of people's homes.
